Join us as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital!

• New pay rates available!
• 3x12 hour shifts with rotated call required
• Start time: 11am

Experience:

• 1 year of surgical/procedural nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior RN experience required

Position will be scheduled to workDays with rotation to periodic weekend shifts and off shifts. Position requires self scheduled on-call responsibilities with call response time of 30 minutes or less. Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required, BSN preferred.

Licensure & Certification:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
• BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
• ACLS certification within 12 months of hire, must be maintained while in this position
