The Chicago Metropolitan Chapter of ASPMN uses Nursing Network to connect with their members and followers.

The CMC is the only chapter of ASPMN in Illinois. The Chapter’s mission is to advance and promote optimal nursing care for people affected by pain through best nursing practices, clinical research, and legislative/community advocacy. The Chapter has a scholarship/grant program that uses chapter funds to sponsor research or support educational goals for our members. The Chapter also gives monetary donations to various charities. Our main activity has been to provide educational opportunities throughout the year to advance our member’s knowledge about evidence-based practices in pain management. We usually accomplish this through dinner presentations and an annual conference. As a member, you do receive a discounted price for the annual conference that makes up for the small membership fee.
